Position Overview

The Canadian Viewpoint Sales Team Administrator role is a full-time permanent position focused primarily on supporting the sales team. This role will report to the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. This is a great opportunity to learn about the industry and understand the needs of our clients.  The core responsibilities of this role are outlined below: 

Processing RFP’s 
The Sales Team Administrator will process Requests for Proposals (RFPs – Request for Proposals) obtained via the sales team. They will be responsible for entering details into Salesforce and creating formal proposals.  

Customer Records 
The Sales Team Administrator is responsible for creating and maintaining customer records.   

Sales Support 
The Sales Team Administrator provides support to the sales representatives when they are away from the office. They take calls and/or e-mails from customers and alert representatives to any urgent issues.  

What you will do:

  • Capture and document client project requirements 
  • Create custom pricing quotes for market research projects and services 
  • Analyze the feasibility of delivering client requirements using quantitative models and formulas 
  • Communication between clients and internal stakeholders 
  • Collect and organize supplier costs received to integrate into custom pricing quotes and feasibility of client requirements 
  • Support the sales function through ad-hoc project tasks 
  • Fielding client calls for proposals, project concerns and clarifications and escalating to sales representatives as required 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a sales-oriented role 
  • Market Research experience would be beneficial  
  • Post-secondary education (Degree or Diploma preferred) 
  • You’re resourceful, resilient, proactive and thrive in high pressure situations 
  • Fluent in English Language (Excellent written and oral communication skills) 
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills; ability to multitask and complete tasks on time 
  • Driven to take initiative to further personal, team, and company growth 
  • Detail orientated with strong analytical skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) 
  • Experience working with Salesforce, or related Sales and CRM platforms 

Standard hours are approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet client deadlines, in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA), including applicable overtime provisions.

As part of a collaborative team environment, employees may occasionally assist with related tasks outside the core responsibilities listed above.
