The Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC) is pleased to honour individuals previously recognized as fellows of our profession as the founding Fellows of CRIC. A complete list of CRIC’s founding Fellows is available on the CRIC website.

The new CRIC Fellows program was developed by industry stalwarts Chris Commins, Ed Gibson, Nik Nanos, Annie Pettit and Barry Watson to be the highest honour awarded to individuals of our profession in Canada. Fellows are encouraged to note this recognition by using the FCRIC designation after their name.

CRIC has also launched a new Fellows Thought Leadership Council. All CRIC Fellows will be invited to participate in quarterly calls to help guide the priorities of CRIC.

“We recognized that Fellows represent a valuable source of thought leadership,” said Barry Watson, Chair of CRIC. “The Fellows Thought Leadership Council will be an opportunity to leverage the collective knowledge and passion CRIC Fellows have to guide our profession.”

In addition to receiving the FCRIC designation, CRIC’s partners at CAIP Canada will also be granting Fellows a life membership in CAIP Canada including the right to use the CAIP designation.

“We are pleased to include this exclusive group of thought leaders as members of CAIP Canada,” stated Robert Wong, Chair of CAIP Canada. “We will also seek their advice to help us grow the CAIP designation.”

CRIC will be issuing a call for nominations for Fellows early in the new year.
